Orbis: The great imbalance

At its heart investing is a balancing act. Balancing how much you stand to gain if things go well, with how much you could lose if things don't work out. Now, most of the time, markets are pretty good at reaching an equilibrium, offering a reasonable amount of return for a given level of risk. But unfortunately, today, that balance looks way off in both bonds and equities.
